Claims Example

Our client operates a hotel and wedding venue. During the busy wedding season, a hotel guest crashed their car into the wedding venue wing of the property causing damage and threatening the calendar of events which the client so heavily relies upon to supplement their hotel business. The client contacted Hiscox and a dedicated claims solicitor was appointed to successfully deal with the claim. This included a provision for lost income under the business interruption section. As a result, the client was able to stay in business and get back on their feet in time to fulfil the remaining wedding fixtures.
