Honeymoon & travel insurance
Enjoy your honeymoon without worrying about your travel insurance.
What is honeymoon & travel insurance?
Your honeymoon is one of the most anticipated holidays of your life.
Honeymoon and travel insurance gives you financial protection if something goes wrong before or during your trip, such as having to cancel due to illness, losing your luggage or an unexpected medical emergency abroad.
We’re working with Voyager Travel Insurance, an award-winning specialist, to bring you flexible, competitively priced cover for your honeymoon or any other trip. Voyager offers single-trip, annual multi-trip and long-stay policies across four levels of cover, so you can choose the protection that suits your travel plans and your budget.
Why do you need honeymoon & travel insurance?
Nobody books a honeymoon expecting something to go wrong. But the reality is that cancellations, medical emergencies and travel disruptions happen. Without the right cover in place, the costs can be significant.
Medical treatment abroad can run into tens of thousands of pounds. A cancelled trip due to illness or injury could mean losing everything you’ve paid for. Delayed flights, lost luggage and missed departures all add stress to what should be a special time for you and your partner.
Having honeymoon and travel insurance means that if the unexpected does happen, you’re not left out of pocket or stranded without support. With a 24-hour medical assistance helpline and cover across more than 100 sports and activities, Voyager’s honeymoon and travel insurance gives you real peace of mind from the moment you book.

Frequently asked questions
A standard travel policy may cover your honeymoon, but it’s worth checking the limits. Honeymoons often involve higher-value bookings, longer trips or more adventurous activities than a typical holiday, so it’s worth making sure your cover reflects that. Voyager’s range of policy levels lets you match your cover to your specific plans.
Voyager Travel Insurance offers single-trip, annual multi-trip and long stay policies. Standard and Prime levels of cover are available on long stay policies, which are designed for couples travelling abroad for several months.
You must be at least 18 years of age and resident in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or an eligible European Economic Area country. You’ll also need to be registered with a medical practitioner in your home country. Full eligibility details are set out in the policy wording.
Voyager covers more than 100 sports and activities, including winter sports, so most trips are well catered for. Some higher-risk activities may require an additional premium. You can check exactly what’s included by reviewing the policy wording on the Voyager website before you buy.
